Sea Wolf Surf is the culmination of years of dedication to the sport and art of wave-riding. Alex has surfed around the world and taught surf to people from all walks of life on three continents.
Growing up immersed in nature and spending much of his young adult life working as an outdoor guide, teaching surfing allows Alex to share his unrivaled passion for the ocean in a way that inspires joy in his students.
When Alex isn’t surfing he can be hard to find; his international family takes him around the world. When in the USA he is homesteading in Del Norte County with his loving family. He is passionate about protecting the wild places and living in harmony with the land and sea.
Sea Wolves are a subspecies of Grey Wolf endemic to Vancouver Island, Canada. For many years they have inspired Alex as an emblem of the adaptability of life and its inherent resilience. These wolves have adapted to a semi-aquatic existence just as surfers aspire to do whenever entering the ocean.
